are there timing marks on all cars from new? might seem like a silly question.
should i make this first thing to do, as i was planning to in the morning removing the head checking all is well and after attacking the sump my brother knows more on internals and is going to help.
also how is best to access the bottom cambelt cover should i get the car up in the air
yea you need to remove the driverside front wheel but im sure you can check the cams line up correctly. if your mate knows about engines then he will know how to check that the cams and crank line up as it should.
yes all cars have timing marks one on the bottom pully wheel which will line up with a mark on the cambelt cover, then remove top cambelt cover and youll see a mark on each cam and marks on the rocker cover it should line up with so yea do this before removing the rocker cover and before removing the oil.
