Oh a jig I'm not sure if they will be using one but they are very thorough, thanks for your help mate I've got some work to do this morning and ill do some research into these

No Worries Mikey as 2 heads are better than one:razz: Plus i've been there with many land rover's

Spoke to a guy who works a lot with metals today and he said he has heard a lot of complaints with acid dipping so glad I didn't go down that route,
He said best to do as I am and inject wax oil just like you said James
Dropped all of the metal parts to him today for powder coating so the resto is coming along nicely

Little update on the car

The underside has been taken back also I will get some pictures
Then etch primer, primer, rub down, stonechip and then painted white.
The prep on exterior panels will begin shortly

Thanks mate! I have decided to inject wax oil like you said May as well go all the way now all this effort has been put in
