Picked up a new block today and took it over to the engineer, it is standard 84mm bores so will be having a re-bore, the eagle crank is being re ground, new pistons, new rods , all new bearings etc, balance shaft removal basically a brand new bottom end,
The stage 3 head was only bolted on when I got the car so the whole thing will be brand new , even the turbo as the old one went pop.
Still deciding whether to keep it or not..... :(
I will post up all pictures as he build commences but it will not be finished for four weeks.

The pistons are arriving from America tomorrow :) seems like I've been waiting ages for the bits. THe Manley rods have arrived. We have all the new bearings and the crank has been done so all being well nick should be finished building the bottom end next week, can't wait.
I will get one pictures up soon of the build.

Today and yesterday the car has been stripped to a bare shell...

pics

The car will go off to the bodyshop on tuesday for a full respray inside and out...also the bottom is being taken back to bare metal and protected and painted white.

All metal bits will be shot blasted and powder coated before going back on to the car and after that the new engine :)

Now that's what you call stripped. May not seem like it but will be worth the effort :)

No progress on the vii yet, concentrated my efforts into getting the mak back to standard :)

Mate I got half way through and thought "what am I doing !!!" Haha but will definately be worth it , after bare shell respray nothing is being bolted back on unless it's been powder coated or a new part :)
Just gotta drop sub frame down after I collect some trollies tomorrow then she's pretty much ready
