Very nice. It's all about the little touches they all add up and make a car special :)

That splitter will "evil" yours up. It already looks like a TA car will do more so when your finished!

Hope so, i Just need lights, but not sure on clear side lights, or all in ones :meh:

Ha well I'd be inclined to say go for clear ones like mine and don't go 1 piece :D

Sometime the orange looks good on the white cars but you'd have to go orange side repeaters and original rear lights. Yours will defo suit clear sides, nice and cheap to do too

Few more bits done over the weekend.

Got the correct bolts for my steering wheel.

Without horn fitted it looked like this, raw race style :D

So bolts, horn and ring fitted

Also got some new Enkei stickers delivered, custom made for me ;)

Fitted, ignore the rusty brakes had just cleaned the car

Want to refurb the brembos with black stickers. The brembo emblams were supposed to be white but have turned orange

Thanks for looking :awesome:

Another small mod update :D

Original plan was to switch the bearings round at the front in the hunt of the vibration when I corner hard right. But this happened to my breaker bar

So got on with some other jobs and oil service

Had these delivered from Neverneverman. 50mm Gear shifter raisers :awesome:

Had to do quite a few modifications to the shifter base and shave a few bits down to retain the interior area so took some time but here's a couple pics.

Serious trimming to accommodate the higher position of the frame (all cleaned up after ;) ) had to trim more out, just kept on trial fitting taking it off trimming down etc etc

Raisers in place rubbish pic as the camera wouldn't pic them up black on black

Finished product

Shows how much closer to the wheel it is :awesome:

Also going to get a universal gaiter to cover the housing up, my old one just didn't quite fit.

I regret getting 50mm as I think 40mm wouldn't require hardly any trimming. You'd also struggle going more than 50mm as its hard to pass the cables by certain parts, stripped out racer would be fine mind

Thanks for looking

Blyton is a bloody god send, can't believe it's right on our doorstep!

I was up there with work around a month ago doing some testing on the infield section whilst a turbo'd time attack S2000 was doing some testing on the proper track, looks like awesome fun!

I had a cheeky lap around there with Dan before it opened last year popped up to see what it was looking like and is it Richard who owns it? Really top bloke let us have a shifty around!

I've never actually done a proper track day so I think will have to give it a miss until I get used to driving a 4wd car with some power! I will pop up on the 10th though and have a watch!

How does it fair on track, Brakes/Tyre wise? I guess it depends how long you stay out in each session. On the plus side don't have far to limp home incase things go Tits up!

Also just looking at your gear shifter set-up, I made the same kind of set up for my old 106 xsi! Just made some spacers out of ally round bar at work and lifted it up, worked a treat so looks like i've found the first free mod to do to my evo when I get it:D:D

Mines fine on the track mate blitzed a lot cars on the days I've been.

Running ksports all round now, I cooked the brembos last time! But they didn't lose any performance just went through a slight colour change lol.

Yoko AD08 tyres too they love it.

But my car is not standard, full geo, coilovers, arb, all sorts lol.

I just didn't have anything to make the spacers with. Takes a fair bit of fiddling and modding but is easy enough with the right mind at work.

You need to get one bought mate, stop searching on the typical places and search within MLR I got mine with a Wanted thread and was offered about 6 minters!
