Hi, no mounted them into the seat belt holes on the back pillar look in the pic and you can just about see.
Want to go harness bar eventually, as iv removed the back seats now :twisted:

It's not really that kind of car yet, maybe one day in the future. I'd want all the interior out too and bucket seats in lots of

Right then small update for the V.
Took the car to Simon@NTS for new inner steering arms and tie rod ends. had a strange vibration coming through the steering wheel when cornering hard right, all sorted now and the steering is so much sharper! The old steering arms where knackered :wtf:
He also worked some magic with the map, toned down the pops and bangs, ignition timing at low rpm, and sorted the Avc-r so I wouldn't get a mental 1.7-1.8 bar of boost in 2nd gear! Si didn't believe me on that one when I contacted him
Then it was to BTR prep to do the geo settings on the car, it's been set on Track Use :twisted: feels brilliant. I don't go out in the car much, and plan to do a few track days and nurburgring this year so should be all good.
Added a harness bar too
Bought a slam panel cover off eBay too
Had to mod it a bit to make it fit with the Koyorad still got to trim a coup,e more mm off it.
Also have AD08's to fit at some point and contemplating having the wheels refurbed anthracite, and possibly carbon wrapping the rear wing.

There you go bud,it bolts together very sturdy. Seen people attach the harnesses to them but I was a bit dubious to that so bolted them into the lower rear seat belt holes.

It's just a typo in the description, mines a 1998.
It's on their site under evo 4-6 so we're fine. TBH the way they connect to the car they could be universal. They're designed to fit in the original seat belt holes. Mine was tad more difficult as I've taken all my belts out lol

Few sneaky pics to update my thread
As seen on another thread my plasti dipped wheels!
Different angle (shiny evo:awesome
Removed the bonnet vent fins for a sneak peek at what's underneath, car only really goes out in the dry so will be fine
My friends scoob after I fitted coilovers for him, was soooo high before!
Also installed an eBay short shifter, best £22 IV spent! A skunk weighted gear knob too, stainless steel radiator brackets to compliment the carbon slam panel.
More to come hopefully.
Si is going to be doing a full belt change for me at some point in the near future. Also need to get my AD08's fitted!

Ha haa, I do try! I always forget to take them.
I've been stripping the sound deadening out too, working my way to the front. Removing then painting etc my aim is get that big mat out from behind the dash

Had a bonus when it came to the rubber liners on my arches
Before and after
Used a bit of acetone on a cloth and wiped them down, to prepare for a bit of paint, and they came up like new :awesome:
Major detail to come too.
Got the AD08's over the weekend. Feel great on the short drive home.
But had a mare removal and fitting of the tyres ruined the black plasti dip! So getting them booked in for some anthracite treatment

Ad-p did you take the counter weight off? I did but put a heavy gear knob on so feels really good. I put the solid bushes in too combined they make a huge difference.
Evo arms, the list of things to buy/upgrade is getting longer and longer I'm looking into doing all the bushes soon, cam belt, wheels done there's all sorts! Love it though :wub:

Another small update.
Did a boost leak test on the car a few weeks back and could hear hissing around the the throttle body shaft seals
Ordered a new set of seals a week or so ago and had a go at em over the weekend.
Throttle body off
Was a bit of a pig to do as there's lots of small parts to disassemble but it all went back together nicely
Here's the seals removed.
The main damage on the left seal was done by me but you can see where it has deteriorated in other areas :shock:
Refitted everything and tested again, only to find a lesser leak from the same area
Got some washing up liquid in a squirts bottle sprayed the whole area, bubbles started to appear under the throttle body! Took it all off to find a it was leaking from the cover in the next pic where the red stuff is.
Not sure what it does but I took it off and sealed it with gasket sealer as you can see (trimmed all the excess off after it dried) there's an o ring in there that has obviously worn will replace that if the gasket sealer doesn't work.
Then onto the steering wheel. Picked up a proper boss kit for a steal on eBay so. The wheel went from
To this, need some new bolts for it as I only had two that would fit n they're a bit shabby! It's put the steering wheel about 20mm closer to me too!
Also been out and bought a new helmet for track days IV got a big head so needed to got to a homobike shop to have a helmet fitted :sneaky:
