where bouts are u in Norwich and where did u take evo for the work

its now been booked to ATP this coming 3rd of dec..i was hoping its not the oil pump, because the lamp only pops when slowing down after half an hr drive then its gone again when the car uis in motion..i spoke to previous garage were the fluids had been done..they were very honest since the start..i think its just the car itself (wear and tear) clive atthowe in salhouse Norwich is the name of the garage..a very decent garage too..i will give you an update after the 3rd of dec..im just hoping that its only the pressure switch.

Clive has serviced mine before n all was spot on. The problem does sound a strange 1.

You slow down and oil pressure drops. That is normal but the problem you have is that it's dropping below minimum pressure. I'm guessing it's ok on cold start and only occurs once warm.
What grade of oil? If it's to thin it could cause a problem or you may have a big problem.
Is it blowing smoke?
Have you oil in the coolant?

Yes Tom it's a bit strange...just like now driving
The car more than an hr..and the oil pressure lamp
Never pops..and the rpm is constant no fluctuations....
I'm still going to ATP to speak to Gary..I'm a bit confused
As well, fingers cross it will be a minor one.

glad you have this sorted, cant beat a manual gauge in future though to assure your not causing probs by driving it

Thanks fq-craigus I'm really so glad that's it's been sorted...oh btw is mechanical or electrical gauge? Which is much better when it comes to reliability and accuracy?
