The wife has family in malaga
Hello, the car was actually running great, the BOV sounded awesome...didn't seem to be the cause of any stall or idle issues.Hi and Welcome mate - As you can see, you are in the right place for the right help - The guys here are so good and helpful. You IV looks very nice!! I have one in blue which is standard - I'm just about to put the same HKS BOV on that you have, and wondered if you had ever had the car running right, and if so how the HKS BOV working ok, any stalling on gear change and idle. If you have had it running right from the point you bought it, can you let me know if it was running ok or if there was any problems.
Anyway hope you get the car sorted soon!! Good luck buddy!
Cheers
Hello,Welcome pal! Hope it al works out for ya in the end. Have you tried to see if the injectors are squirting via the rail being taken off?
Use the same plug on ech of the leads, that way you know the plugs are good and which lead is knackered if its the case. Be sure to try it in a darkish place.
This has me beat fellas,
-Compression should be okay if the timing belt is intact w/the cam gears rotating.....
not really pal, it can turn over but that don't mean compression is right. I noticed el was saying the crank sensor might have come loose, have ya checked?
Oh okay, I see....Mallorca......where magaluf (shagaluf) is
One of the baleric islands

That's what I been trying to check but I don't know where it's at. Can someone give me a general Idea, please?![]()
Ok, sounds good...I'm doing my best to track down a compression tester out here. What's the best way to kill all fuel during the compression test? I didn't want to just continue to leave the fuel line unhooked from the rail.To gain access to the crank shaft sensor, you will need to take the timing covers off.
You will find it connected to the block on the right hand bottom corner, it has 2 X 10mm bolts holding it in place.
If you have spark then I am inclined to rule out the Crank Shaft Sensor.
Again, I suggest that you run a compression test in order to get a better picture. It will help both you and I in getting somewhere fast!!!
From what I have gathered so far, it seems like the timing might be out/the belt might have jumped a couple of teeth.

Well if it tried to fire over then you need to get those fuel lines sorted as soon as possible buddy.
As for your question on who Jock is:
Jock from English Mobile Mechanics - Living Life in the Sun
Mocking up fuel lines should be easy enough for you over there, I suspect that the pipes are only torn in the area immediately around the fuel pump so you might want to temporarily repair a small section and then see how it goes.
Do keep hunting for a compression tester.
Keep us posted please.
