Stick that Dump Vale on as is and tighten the connection with a Jubilee.

Connect the Vacuum Hose on the top of the Dump Valve to where the original one was connected.

Connect a Blocker/Plug on the inlet point which is where your original Recirculating Hose was connected near the inlet Plenum /Throttle Body (or the other way around if you prefer) and the job is over and done with buddy! ;)

that DV need to go into the rear pipe, hard bit i can see in the 1st pic. then the small vaccum hose fits on the top of the DV. Then you need a blanking plug to fit where the stand Valve used to be.

yep got that cheers mate ;):)

It looks like a Forge item so he should be fine.

I have found that they tend to run better if the Atmospheric Valve is attached to the Hard Pipe section as the flutter is less of an issue when it is further away from the Throttle Body.

Even the gormless Baileys devices give no bother! :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

You can adjust the throttle so it idles at 1000rpm rather than the std 850... this can aid in the stalling.
People do have issues with various VTA bovs. They dump to much air when you come to a sudden stop and the car stalls.

sounds like a single piston baileys, they're not designed for maf based cars.

if you get your idle control valve set up properly then you should/may fix the stalling issues that you get with a vta.

Have the engine running at idle when warm and adjust the screw on throttle body at end of the throttle cable. The revs will go up or down and adjust to suit....around 1000rpm
