Aye, which is unfortunate :( but my turbo sits quite high with no covers, so would rather it be presentable lol.

The 2 units you have back there on your fire wall are the fuel pump resistor and the Injector resistor. I'd have got a new one for the car, but to be honest, i'm about to move the fuel pump relays to accommodate for my hard wiring of the 255L and 044

The plate is a pig to remove anyway. I tried to get it off yesterday to paint satin black but with the limited tools I had with me I couldn't get to one of the bolts:cry: Never mind when I have a bit more time I'll have another go and perhaps get it chromed;)

I wasn't completely satisfied with the outcome of the AMS logo on the manifold, so rubbed it back and sprayed over it, will do it once i've got the heat through the paint and set it.
I got it mated up with the head to see what it looks like, i'm chuffed with the result :)

Carbon bits added :)

These took a tiny bit of work to make fit correctly, but they're on now :)

And pics of the struts fitted

Big thanks to Pete at Spec-R for the rad brackets and the hour long conversation about work :D Shame my neighbour rang the door bell :( lol Also an anonymous member from across the road who got me a brand new official ralliart carbon fibre cooling panel :D Going to look alright up front now :)

Sold my old rocker cover, catch tank and cam cover :) So all going to be replaced with some new custom and carbon bits :) Can't wait!!!

Unfortunately, the dust has got to the engine bay and its looking a little sorry for itself.

Looking good Steve the brackets are a work of art and you pay for what you get. Pete does like to have a chat doesn't he:)

Aye, they're not too bad! Just got to clean up the slam panel now to match, unfortunately it looks like its been butchered trying to get engine's in and out in the past.

Oh - nick, forgot to mention!! Have a look here and see if you recognise the car ;) Makes for some very interesting viewing!

So that was the original build then! From Ireland and then to Blighty. I'm pretty sure Eddie12 had a fall out with ECC not sure what it was about though.

Did ECC do the wiring as well?

Seems so! If they did, I'd have expected better quality. Cars sorted now in terms of wiring :) plus it explains the v8 loom for the injectors.

I was thinking they are supposed to be a reputable co so would have expected better really:( But as you say and I have seen you have it all under control now though:)

Hi all! New little update :)

Got my Spec-R radiator mounts and carbon cooling panel :D

With the rocker cover, catch tank and clear cover sold, i waited for the new bits to start arriving :D

Firstly my hose sections from Cam :D Now fitted to the pipe, though the flex joint has been replaced by a solid joiner piece

Then my bits arrived from co-ordsport :D I've still got the other half of the order to arrive :D But my samco, rear strut brace and ARP bolts.

I started putting my turbo back together with the new pipe work and jubilee's, unfortunately this rubbed off some of the silver VHT paint :( But i sorted that later :)

Got the paint out to sort the little bits i rubbed, fitted the piping and samco

Problem has now occurred when i started to tighten the centre nut on the exhaust manifold, it didn't tighten, just stayed relatively stiff and i realised it was pulling the stud out :( So i've stripped the head. I've a feeling this is going to be turbo/manifold off again :wallbang: on later inspection i'd stripped the stud, so just got to replace that now :)
