Does this look like a bad CPS?

I've done fuel, air, spark, timing all was good...car will not start so I figured the CPS is bad. From crankwalk or whatever, but this doesn't seem like it's bad, I have no idea though, I have never looked at one before.

It does still have its magnetic capabilities to the reluctor wheel(or whatever its called).

Have you checked for a signal from the crank sensor while cranking the engine ?

have you tried reading any fault codes?
I can't get any readings because I reset the ECU when the issues first started happening, car hasn't started since...so all I get is constant blinking.
Have you checked for a signal from the crank sensor while cranking the engine ?
How do I do this? Which wires do I probe for this?

Thanks for the input fellas...

you need to put the sensor back in place and check for a alternating 5v signal when cranking.

Gotcha, thanks a lot for that....I'll check that one soon as I get some time off from work.

***UPDATE***

I finally got around to checking the CPS sensor signal.

It reads about 5v with the key turned over in the ignition. It does fluctuate while being cranked.

SO, here we stand:

-Fuel Good
-Spark Good
-Timing Good
-Crank Position Sensor intact
-Signal Good

Still no start.

So I don't think it crankwalked on me.....what's next fellas??

Doesn't seem like it's turning over fast enough. Have you tried to bump start it ??

I have no idea...I only know the clutch was swapped about 5000miles ago

Yea the battery was just low right there....when I use the jump pack it spins over just fine. No start.

think you might need to go through everything again mate, cos if youve got spark/fuel/timing good then it should fire.

From the beginning, I thought resetting the computer would fix things so I reset the ecu. Since then no engine codes :(

I've check the plugs out, watched them throw spark, and switched in a different set. Still nothing

I mean...as simple as it sounds, it really is the typical "NO-START condition" but it's obviously something no so typical :wtf:

-Fact: A car will still start with a hole in the block

-Fact: A car will still start up w/a bad plug or two(just run crazy).

-Fact: A dead starter will kick over on a push start

It is something else not letting this car crank over. The timing marks are lined up. The correct number of "cogs"/"ribs" on the belt are between the 2 markings on the head.

I got nothing. I mean, I can't only see so much w/the engine in the car and if the belt skipped a tooth, it should throw it off everywhere I'd imagine.

Am I missing something though, I do not see many threads on here about your Evo's skipping timing at all?? There's absolutely no one on the forums who's had a no start condition like mine before? Wow.....it was fun while it lasted I guess. Couple Spanish guys offered me trades for it as is, guess I'll take one of the civics for it. AWD turbo another time I guess.
