What is people running

18x9 - 235/40/18

it feels a bit arse happy when hard cornering and when braking hard feels like the back end wants to come round

Think I'm running 32/32 in nitrogen

I've always run mine at 30 all round. That's with 255/35 and 235/40 tyres on and very even wear :)

What brake pads are you using ? Same for front and rear cos if not then that will make a difference :)

It's surprising really how much it helps it used to understeer a little bit

This is what I run, also it doesn't matter what size wheels tyres etc. the tyre pressure should remain the same as it is pressure that counts not quantity:)

You should run higher on on the front not same all round

Higher in the front like has been mentioned say 32front/30rear or even 32/28 will help with the initial turn in making it sharper as the side walls will be stiffer effectively pushing the tyres into the Tarmac more.

This will cause more oversteer so you run lower temps at the rear to keep the back end stable, just having it slightly softer helps the tyres to grab a little better when they start to slip.

The newer cars do like to go sideways more than the 4/5/6's (apart from Marios)

But tyre pressures are only a small part of the puzzle there's many many many factors that can cause the rear end to go. What suspension? Has it been geo'd? Rear ARB?

I would say you need to put a little camber in the rear wheels ;)

What set up you running? Wouldnt be tire pressures if you're running 32/32.

My six had the rear camber bushes gone, and zero camber. It was so fun as it was all over the place ! Now I'm running power flex bushes and 1.5 negative it's planted :)

Everyone has slightly different driving technique, whats good for somebody may kick out the arse of someone else's car if the approach corners differently.
My car is a totally different drive now since fitting my coil overs and having the geo. Done and will take a bit of adjusting to.
You may feel different putting more air in than you are used to/suits you, it may feel a bit skittish with more or vice a versa.
