Not bad consumption! I did, however, do 550 miles in one evening in the 9 before i put it in the garage lol, just over 13k on the clock now!

Its mainly the wiring, Nick, the rest of the car has been done to an extremely high standard, i looked at the alarm's wiring and its near on perfect!! All the engine work is spot on too!

The job's been done by whoever converted to a non-mivec engine. The car has been a 30-130 competitor at sometime, and i think whoever SMD (from over the road) got to do the engine work has done it, or whoever had it after him. Again, most of the wiring is fine, its just some very spurious stuff that has either not been needed or that random earth that got too hot. The rest is just scotch locks and poor soldering - which i've all sorted now It looks like an OE loom again

Good to hear mate I'm not knocking your car. I have seen the standard of the repairs you have done it's just a pity whoever did the work on it before didn't have the same standards as yourself I'm sure you will return or even better it to full glory Why did they change to non mivec though

Not sure mate, some believe its a stronger engine to modify, but thats rubbish. I WAS considering putting another 9 engine back in and wiring it, but the engine work is over £10k!! And its only done 3k miles from built, so might as well just enjoy it
