Hi guys

Would you be kind enough to describe the feeling of a wheel bearing on its way out or completely gone?

Tried giving the wheel a wiggle from 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock give it a turn and try again can't feel any play but convinced I got a problem.

does it just happen on a full lock and does it continue to do it untill you straighten the steering again ?

Wheel bearings can be rough an noisy without any evidence of play top to bottom, you will feel the vibration through the car but more so the persistent grumbling noise as the wheel rotates, the faster you go the louder it will be.

sounds like it could be a wheel bearing. when the steering is turned the weight shifting from side to side can make the noise come ang go....there dont need to be play in a bearing for it to be fooked

Think I may take it out and have a feel of the bearing see if it's running smooth or rough
