It can be either for cosmetic purposes or due to them having a forced induction system in place.

I bet you never thought of that now did you;)

I'm not bothered if its not legal,my rear one isn't cos its got a mtsi badge on it,pathetic, its still readable, the coppers dun no wots legal n wots not anyway, I think if u can read it from 20mtrs away the rest shouldn't matter, jus my opinion though.

nor is going above 70mph on the motorway but we all do it ;) ive got 3 mates who dont put a front numberplate on at all

Oh indeed, but its about how far you push it. I would imagine if you went say 75-80 you would be ok from the law most of the time but if you go 140, the first time you get seen your going for a trip to the cop shop.

Same with a dodgy plate, push it with a slightly wrong size or spacing you will get away with it most of the time. No plate and your asking for trouble.

Personally I never ever speed and have the correct plates ;);):p:p

Whaaat didnt know that. I went with the general rule of thumb that jap cars wit square plates were imports unless the owner has put the square plate on but u can normally tell that as the plate does not fit or sit correctly on the bumper.
