Excellent video mate good driving think the idea is to get on the gas in the bends so you have more traction but it seems very important to be in the right gear for the bends med to high revs in the bends full gas on the way out defo gobs try this man. I c it will make you a better driver as you learn how to brake hard it's sinfully I don't like doing as I'm scared of how much it would cost to buy new discs and pads. I got ap racing and havnt changed them yet but I know there not cheap
Ap brakes mmmm lovely stopping power me likes have you ever really battered them got them red hot then felt the force of the stopping power they are awesome!!!!
As for getting through discs and pads take me i have standard evo 4 calipers
(non brembo) yellow stuff pads and groved discs on 6 track days this year averaging 130 miles per track day discs are fine and i have replaced the front pads once rears are still great and i brake really hard!!
A race is won or lost in a corner carrying that speed through it is the most important you will find it out on a trackday
If i can give you one bit of advice for 2012 stuff the olympics do a trackday or even half a day trust me you will be hooked!!!!

Well just wondering does any one jump in the car 2am in the morning down the countryside and just belt it around n e one know that feeling???:D

Not particularly at that time lol. But yeah, a little drive down some country roads is fun, nothing too stupid though, as the others are saying, they are much less forgiving than a proper track.

Bear in mind that country roads are used by agricultural vehicles, so relying on seeing head lights isn't too smart, there could be a tractor sat on the side of the road that has broken down (Tractor 1- Evo 0) also mud from fields, nasty if you hit that at a reasonable speed. (sorry for preaching hahaha)
