Track days or country roads

True got to agree but if some one comes at you 2pm the morning you gona see the lights but I agree sensible on the track defo guys

But you got to admit country roads twists and turns bends and your not going round it you choose the roads and there not all the same I mean ??? true that if you uck up you can pull off but if you drive watching out for hazards and concentrate on the road you shud be ok but yeh tracks safer place to be

Depends where you are, Scottish highland roads aren't the place to piss around. Too many people die on the B roads as it is.

C I know what you guys mean about track but I dnt know sometimes you just need to go for a drive and let off some steam. The way I look at it you got this machine outside and you spend all this money modding it nd unless it's a show car, you just feel the need to give it a bit of a beating

Trackdays all the way,you may feel like Nigel Mansell driving round the country lanes at 2am but one missed braking point or one animal that runs out and you over react its GAME OVER time if not for your car could also be possibly be for YOU!!! Also driving at night it always seems faster than your actually going and not knocking your driving but if your like me when i first did a trackday i thought i was the best road driver in the world no one would touch me on the track i was fast baby yeah lol how very wrong i was!!!! Instructors words were dave you drive it like you stole it i was all over the track no consistancy my lap time were all over the place but after allot of tuition and practice i am not only very consistant on the track but also a better driver on the road.
My record for going down craner curves at Donington is 108 mph on just lowering springs, evo 4 standard calipers yellow stuff pads and grooved discs and fedral rsr tyres which isnt bad going would i try that on the road not a f##kin chance lol.Stay safe leave it on the track!!!!!

track days are much safer places.run off areas recovery and so on.back roads at 2am are a bad idea anything can happen doesnt matter how high ure concentration levels are going round a blind corner and you come head on with a deer ure either going to hit it or swerve and hit the trees.either way ure be pretty f****d.

Deer's around here are common, so i'd be worried about opening the car right up, i mean the acceleration is blinding, but even with good brakes, stopping for a deer stepping out into the middle of the road would be work!

Evening runs are good fun. Not a proper flat out blast, just a spirited but safe drive but for a real drive it has to be trackdays!

Never really done track days I mean ok I know what you guys are saying about danger and all that deers are always gona be a problem so I do agree how does it work tuition sounds good you can always learn off the professionals. how much does it cost to do track days? How does it work and how much do you pay for tuition? Do you use ur own cars or can they supply u with one? Do let me know thanks guys

Agree with this. Spirited driving suits me down to the ground I don't do track days for fear of ruining my car. I never take stupid risks and only really drive on roads I know well. Gettin up to the speed limit is a nice rush really and Jus love the sound of my car

Trackdays range on price but when you are looking always go for a open pit lane one basically that means you can go on and off the track as much as you want theres no limit on times or laps. If you go on some of the cheaper ones you are normally sent out in groups for 20 mins at a time but if theres 5 groups you have a long wait inbetween sessions.
Normally tuition is free with the trackday you normally get 25 min session out with the instructor where they will tell you where you are going wrong and where to go right

Use your own car allot of people on there first trackday take them on as is then if you love it spec it for the track on the next one

Excellent video mate good driving think the idea is to get on the gas in the bends so you have more traction but it seems very important to be in the right gear for the bends med to high revs in the bends full gas on the way out defo gobs try this man. I c it will make you a better driver as you learn how to brake hard it's sinfully I don't like doing as I'm scared of how much it would cost to buy new discs and pads. I got ap racing and havnt changed them yet but I know there not cheap
