just looking at the guys previous threads and it looks like it was done at hypertech???

Hypertech is just where the dyno lives, they did not do the mapping, and it was the mapper whot fitted the cams, etc.

I am 99% sure I know who it is just by deduction, and things tying together, but don't want to go spouting stuff that may be inaccurate, hence I am not posting on here or anywhere else who I think it might be. TBH, this is between them and killin1, so we should just leave it like that.

sponners, it probably is who you thought TBH.

Is the mapper not gonna stand over his own work??

Everyone makes mistakes no matter how good they are.

Dont get me wrong I m not saying that it is or isn't I just wanna know if he'll be standing over his part of the work?

This is the thing, the person with the dead engine is blaming the mapper for incorrectly fitting the cams which he says has caused all this in the first place. However by the sounds of it there was also an oil pressure issue, it's all up in the air right now TBH.

Between the 2 of them to sort out. However to me it sounds like the initial damage that caused the bent valves also damaged & weakend the piston, causing it to let go once the boost was turned up and placed under greater stresses.

Who is at blame for the initial damage is another matter tho. I do hope it all get sorted where both of them are happy with the end result.

I think it's more to do with the thread title tarnishing the geekmapped name, and the owners of geekmapped not wanting that. Fair play to them, it has nothing to do with them, so they should not have their good name tarnished over this.

Don't think it is anything more than that.
