It reads air temp and pressure for better control of air fuel mixture.

it depends on were we fit the temp sensor, do you have a hard pipe kit? as it can be mounted in the top pipe otherwise its a manifold off job to fit in on the manifold

thats a load off rubbish.

yea using the 9 inlet isn't a bad idea with its sensors but theses sensors will obviously need to be wired in so a lot just tend to opt for fitting air temp sensor into a hardpipe :)

Yeah its a lot of rubbish. My own 8 runs sd. Need a air temp sensor and map sensor. Wire then in and fit and good to go. The 9 manifold already has the holes for the sensors that's why is easier to fit one. I can get prices for you both

Were would they wire to? (The standard maf plug?) Also dont think itd hurt putting a price up as think itd be handy for the people out there. Also have seen people run a blow through maf which uses the standard maf sensor just put in a hard pipe after the intercooler, is that prety much whats needed here?

the map sensor wires direct to the ecu and the temp sensor wires to the MAF plug. Once on SD you can remove the MAF and put in a large pipe to feed the turbo

Ok for the complete drive in and out with sensors etc, is £590 for fitting in the top hard pipe and £740 for manifold fitment. Prices include VAT and we would need the car for 2days to make sure all is well (and welding the appropriate part) etc.

We also perform a compression test and full boost leak test and general health check on all cars before we map them.

Cheers

just a temperature sensor and map sensor, not really a big job just need to weld on some mounts for them
