Slow Electric Window Evo 8

Guys my drivers side window is slow as hell when coming back up, seems to speed up nearer the final few inchs, any ideas?

Check the rubber runner is not catching and hindering the motor.

Dirty window liner, clean it up and pop a lil grease in the runner if doesn't fix it a new motor might be in order

Cheers, when you say window liner do you mean the regulator bits that go way inside the door?

Na I mean the seal that the window runs in, they can get clogged with dirt sometimes

Ah right you mean the visible bit of the window guide not inside the door, will check them..

It does go down behind the door card too. Sometimes they come loose and get twisted.

Fairy liquid is your friend... squirt a little around the rubber inside an out

silicone dash cleaner is ace for them, just spray it in the groove and job done.
