Hi all just bought an evo 4, ran it for a few days then I did the timing belt.
Before doing timing belt the car ran 100% but after doing timing belt the car seems slower, sounds different, and it is doing the "common dipstick problem" I double checked the cam timing, they line up to the marks on valve cover at TDC, checked PCV valve and a compression test reads 6 bar over all 4 cylinders. i noticed oil in the tubes where the spark plugs go too.
Seems strange how its only done these symptoms after replacing belt?
thanks
p.s. aparently its an evo 6 engine, I can't read the numbers on the block for rust.
