I've just had an odd thing happen to my lancer, the rear drivers side brake pads wore down to nothing in less than two months. I had not noticed that corner being hot but since replacing the pads i have noticed that it is much hotter than the other three.
Now, the odd thing is, i've taken it all apart and i can't find anything wrong.
The slider pins are free and slide perfectly, and when i used my windback tool the piston moved freely and easily as i would expect from a caliper working properly. Jacking the car up and spinning that wheel shows its spinning freely too.
I can't think of anything that would cause the pads to wear down or that corner being very hot.
Any ideas guys?
