Hi Guys,

Well, after a timely period away from ownership, living away in Cyprus and some time out of area the craving has still been there!! After some searching i finally came across a particular one that took my eye. It took a while to finally come to picking her up but i finally picked her up today and drove her home :D

Yes, thats right. Its Peeler's old IX :D Some of you may remember our fall out last year, but Steve has been a true gentleman and hasn't held a grudge. Since i showed my interest in the car again he has been thorough about everything and made sure there are no hidden surprises. Unfortunately i didn't get to meet up with him, but the car has been kindly stored by Nick and NR Autosport and he too has been a top bloke to do this while my car took up vital work space.

Before Nick started it up he did say "I best open the door before i start this, its got quite a bark to it" and it does!! Very loud :D lol. Something to consider changing in the future, so if anyone wants to buy a full Ti Trust exhaust, PM me ;) I also want to put it on aftermarket management at some point, but all in good time. I was also considering removing the cage, but you know what? I'm quite taken to it now! lol

The car's condition all over is excellent! There are a few marks, but in the end of the day its a used car! Its nothing that can't be sorted with a bit of polish and the front bumper having a re-spray (chips and a few minor scratches). The power - well i've driven some fast cars before but this thing is extremely quick and RAW! I love it :D I only got to give it a quick burst, but it was enough to prove to me what its capable of. I almost fired myself through the windscreens with the brakes too! Very sharp! :D

All in all, very happy with the car :) And i would like to extend my thanks to Steve (Peeler) for his co-operation and honesty throughout the deal, my thanks to Nick for storing the car and to Dan at Pace Ward for getting me a spot on price for my insurance and great customer service.

Cheers guys
Steve

Not a problem as long as its legal

Mmm yea might struggle with that too if it's as loud as my mate rx7 drift car which had a titanium exhaust on it for a short time then it will be ucking loud :)

The first thing my mum said when she saw it was "Is it blue, purple, or both?". lol. Cheers for the comments guys!

Nick - the exhaust doesn't have any flanges to fit a de-cat on it, its a straight through now, VERY loud but my GOD does it sound awesome at 2 bar when you're bending time :D

Its got one silencer at the back, its heat wrapped for about 3 foot of it! Not sure how much i'd sell it for as the exhaust itself new is worth £900, its had £600 worth of work done to it, so i'd probably sell it for £600 i think. Apparently it weighs bugger all!!!

A bit of a tiny update, Got a sunstrip sorted by SJS Designs :D nothing special, just something to cover the top of the windscreen

Few more pics

Semi pro pics :D

And now for some more power bits ;) S90 70mm throttle body, will match the JMF inlet manifold nicely :D

And a nice bit 4" ID K&N from ross sport :D for when the car get mapped, in 2 minds whether or not to go for Motec now..hmm decisions!

Also got myself an official Jap number plate mount for the front of the car :D will do some trimming to make it smaller :D The police are getting a little twitchy about my front plate :( Though not the stupidly loud exhaust :s
