been thinking about making one for some time now but after getting want seemed to be heat soak when road mapping after sitting for 5 mins thought i`ll give it a go see if itwould help:confused: Started with a bit of sheet metal,
Then folded to size
made sure it fitted and cut round the maf
after a couple more cuts to make sure the bonnet would shut it was ready for painting.
then fitted
the boonet inlet is above and iv`e put a 50 mm flex from the front of the car, just worried it mite trap the heat?? look`s good tho i think. :)

Looks really good

Just needs finishing off with some rubber around the top. Iv used Rubber hosing and slit it length ways before or even some old door seals. That would also aid in "sealing" it off.

I did this to mine a few months ago. Not quite as neat but does the job. I just used part of an old rubber boot seal around the top of mine.

you should be able to buy some small door seal off ebay, that's what I have on my carbon shield
