I use Wurth 250 degree sealer or RTV Black. Most gasket sealers will do for the sump but do not shops own brands.

Yes very good sealer also and you will only need an 80ml bottle which will be around £6.75-£7.50.

And when refitting the sumpmake sure everythings cleaned up, apply liquid gasket, let it sit for 5 mins, then fit, torque down the bolts (criss cross fashion etc) and let it sit a few hours before filling with oil etc ,if at hme,fit midday and wait till the next morning to fill for best results.

Tightened the sump bolts in the main pattern you would do similar as head bolts. Make sure when you do apply the gasket sealer that you go round the outside edge sump pan and slightly towards the middle as when it sets you dont want any hardener sealer on the inside of the sump pan.
