I may give it a go tomorrow weather depending :) as I want to re paint the insides of my headlights so there all black as the indicator bits on mine are still chrome. Will do pics also :) haven't put any recent pics of the car on here yet

i think personally if you do the chrome bits black also, it may be too dark, but your choice, yes you need to get a thread going on progress with your evo ;)

Use a 1500/2000 then a 2500 wet and dry saturated in warm soapy water and sand them until they go hazy.

Use a cutting/polishing pad with something such as meguiars ultimate compound or meguiars plastic x on setting 2 or about 800-1200rpm. Finish with a finishing pad with a choice of wax and jobs a goodun'!

This is my friends A3 before and after, only used 2500 so didn't get the full cut with the 1500 but could improve upon this!
