My lenses on my lights are looking abit tired, has anybody sanded them down or used anything to bring some life back into them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :D

Thanks Adam

Are they going cloudy? Use toothpaste on them to bring them back to clear.

It would involve sanding and machine polishing.

But I'm unsure what type of polish would be best  I considered it on my BMW.

It's popular in the US from what I remember

Will give it a go mate :) the rear lights I got from you are fine just the odd little mark but that will have been from me when I split them, it's the fronts that are my main concern :(

I do have a machine polisher so may give it a go, I guess it's just one of those things you need to bite the bullet with and give it a go haha once you start sanding there's no turning back :D

Get it done will be fine, just start light and get more abrasive gradually if scratches don't shift

Just give them a machine polish with something like megs 205 but take care that you do a single pass and ket cool, you don't want the lense to get any heat in it and discolour.

I may give it a go tomorrow weather depending :) as I want to re paint the insides of my headlights so there all black as the indicator bits on mine are still chrome. Will do pics also :) haven't put any recent pics of the car on here yet
