Haha that was my thoughts on spraying my wheels black too lol.

Palma I have a plate in the front of my car. Assumption is the mother of all f ups. I've met foxy a good few times now and some of the other guys at various events and there is a lot of banter that goes on, foxy gives as good as she gets me and poor Steveyb_evo3 got the rough end of it about having to get our cara towed around when they were off the road and I still go to bed and fall asleep naturally.

It's all a laugh

Well to be honest Craig if your plate is 'in the front of your car' on the dashboard you're still committing an offence. It's the same as not having one cause you're not displaying it in the proper place!!!

Ie the front of the vechile clearly visible like the guy that pulled me over the other day said. I'll be honest I have prioristised rebuilding my engine and gettin the car, back on the road after 5 months rather than buying another smaller plate or another bracket like the one that was stolen off the car when they stole the badges off the back.

Well it's clearly not visible, obviously the cop has shown his discretion. It's the same law for trade plates as for registration plates. They have to be displayed on the outside of the vehicle on the most outer part. Traders who put trade plates on the dashboard and rear parcel shelf are commiting an offence cause they arn't clearly visible.

Well u no what if I get a fine ill deal with it. Least of my probs right now. Like I have previously said show respect if pulled don't take em for a mug and you will be fine.

We got onto this how??? Oh Yh because you theought I was slaggin off foxys car..........

Believe me I'm sure foxy would be the first to step in if anything was meant with any bad intent and also admin would also stamp it out.

I'm sure one day you will make it an event with everyone and you will see the banter that happens.

No offence intended palma if I have done

So anyways back to origional post, I still need ma wheels done foxy ;)

As some of you know I had my baby in a few months back to get some work sorted out on her, all was fine till a few weeks back my clutch went.:cry:

Went back to EL's and he is currently sorting it all for me, but as this is my car of course it's complicated lol !! ( understatement of the year )
It's been converted in Japan to a push clutch, so ideally would need a push one, but I'm having a pull one fitted and everything needs to be converted back lol, and guess what EL has so kindly told me that there's a few more things wrong with her.:eek::cry::cry:

So I'm sat waiting for my baby to be fixed and the shopping list of bits that's wrong, why can't I live a simple life eh? Lol.

Total spent on her this year so far is £5983.28p. Ucking thing......:sad: not even the end of the poxy yr ! Lol

You already had a clutch fitted once didn't you, why wasn't it converted back to a pull clutch then cos I'd imagine it was difficult to find a push clutch for it.

yea i did in march, but it was a second hand one cos i couldn't get a new push one in time for the fast show, and had a manic time bk then, and ended up with 3 clutches at one point and couldn't do uc all with them then got lumbered with one that amber performance wouldn't take back !

it wasn't converted back cos the mec i used back in march wasn't to clued up on doing it, but it's all sorted now, thanks to EL and the gang, i have new clutch, new flywheel, new slave cylinder, new fork, and bearings the whole shabam :)

on the plus side i have a fly wheel and all the bits (slave cylinder, fork, bearings) in perfect condition for sale lol.

next on the list to get done is : 2 new front tyres, tracking, tax, new brake disks, then take it back to El's to get some bits tightened up, then job done ! woohoo lol. :)
