hi all
Right I have been getting a few bits together, and popped up to indigo last night and had a chat with Ant. Clearly their option does provide quality and pease of mind but its not going to be the cheapest option out there.
So basically I want to see what my other options are, if you got for a rod job, how much of a risk of anything second hand? If to buy a forged engine and then sell my stock motor. Or to bit the bullet and have it done properly and drop it off to Indigo
currenlty I have a rebuilt head running hks cams, new pulleys uprated springs, retainers. so really the big question is what to do about the bottom end. Not sure if to whip the head off check the condtion of the bores in my current motor, fit new head/ turbo and and get it mapped as Ant recommened then see about going down the forged route. Probably the best way to go currently as not to much expense and gives time so see about strenghting the bottom end.
what do you think??
