Hi all,
I purchased myself an evo 4 a couple of months ago and it is now showing serious signs of crankwalk. Everywhere I have read it is suggested that the best fix for this is to replace the bottom end with an e5/e6 bottom end. Is there anyone else unfortunate enough to have suffered from this and how did you go about righting the bottom end?
Anyway apart from that I really like the evo. I’d always wanted an evo 4 and one came up cheap so the idea was to have a play then break it for parts and make a bit of doller. But apart from the engine, everything else about the car is spot on and I am feeling that I should try and fix the bottom end stop another evo 4 going to its grave.
If anyone has got any information on how to fix the e4 bottom end or where I can find an alternative engine I would be very appreciative.
Thanks
Ozzie
