Looks lovely.. love them in white.... going to be fun.

My V Stroker runs lumpy (with K272 Cams).

Got a RS Diff kit if you still need one :sneaky:

Ok mate ill let you know....just trying to get this sorted as it is....its running 500bhp at the moment so will see how i get on...if I go more then ill grab the rs diff

It has a misfire so a mate looked into it and it turns out it has a bent valve...

So head off in the morning and down to the engineers....

Fingers crossed will be sorted tomorrow.

Im running 2.0 with a gt3076 kit different ecu etc but no lumpyness at all just nice and smooth... That is until the boost comes in and pins you back in the seat :)

Keep this updated with pics along the way cos helps if you sell the car and keeps people entertained on here :)

Oh right thought you were running a stroker....yeah 500bhp has to be a different league right?? Cant wait to find out

Im taking the stroker out of the V and into my VIII and my mate Joe has already bought the V

But we will keep the pictures coming.,..next is a full underseal and paint work

Turns out the engineer who done the head work on the stroker let the apprentice put the valves back in and one of the exhaust valves on cylinder 3 was completely the wrong valve :(
So a new valve has been lapped in all bores have been pressure tested so head back on tomorrow and it should run fine....fingers crossed

How on watch can you put a wrong valve in lol?

Lol that's what I thought, he obviously wasn't watched, he's quite a reputable engineer so was very embarrassed an sorted it free of charge,
So he bloody should, when the head was taken to him the bill was £2500 so to let an apprentice put it back together?

I don't know

Anyway we are here now putting the head back on so fingers crossed (again) it should be fine later

Yeah that will be the next thing after the engine goes into my VIII

I will clean the whole engine up and paint the block etc so it's nice and clean :)

Just as I said it was running lovely my mate Joe took his brother out in the car and the tubby went pop :(

It was an old ATP GT35...its unfortunate but it was probably on its last legs...

So im now thinking of going over to a full frame turbo set up

What turbo would you guys suggest for a road car??

Aiming for 600bhp+

Turbo fitted and dyno today, mapped the car up to 475/475 to run the engine and new turbo for a week or so.

Very happy with the result, fun in the wet haha

That's a mans turbo :)

Good figures that. Now you just need to adapt your driving style :)
