Evo 9 jerking violently on full throttle

anyways... I've somehow fixed it... i changed the target boost to 21 PSI (1.4 Bar),if that a safe boost level? and for the b mode, its set to 170, which is 26 PSI (1.7 Bar) is that a safe level?

1.7 is not safe with out it being mapped I would set it at 1.3 to be safe

I've set A to 1.4 Bar, and B is 1.5 Bar, the MR FQ 360 by HKS versions had a remap as standard... Dose that mean I can turn it up a bit? Anyone know what map was put on them? I belive it was an ecuteck remap.

i mean you should be ok at 1.4 /1.5 but until things are checked to be sure id stick to 1.3 just incase theres other issues

hi i would put all the pipe work back to std and let the ecu do all the work with your boost 100% safe ......

Surge I get it all the time

Used to get surge till my remap and we just upped the power on the last map tweak and I still dont get it ......weird we have the same setup in that dept as well.


If the car feels like its hitting a brick wall when on full boost it is most prob fuel cut , I had the same issue after a someone played with my map.....DON'T thrash it round until you have the map checked and re - tweaked mate as it is not doing the engine any good at all

i get it all the time when i put my foot down in a high gear it splutters like hell :hm:

Change down in to 5th and drive the ucker properly sometimes helps too mate
