evo 4 tyres

hi again everyone just wondered if its true that if i change any tyres that i have to change all 4 at once as i need to put 2 new tyres on my evo 4 can i change just the 2 or all 4 thanks

It is recommended you rotate tyres so they all get changed at the same time. So for non directional tyres, fronts do a big X (front offside to rear nearside etc) and then backs forward and directional tyres are front to back.
But im a rebel and do what the feck I want, which usually results in me changing tyres at random intervals. (Only caveat being my road car is fwd and the evo i play with gets new tyres every 40 miles or so...)

thanks for that i was told that if you didn't change all 4 at the same time it puts strain on the diff

Yeah bit of an urbun legend. It is said because if you have one end of tyres with a smaller diameter than the other end your not going to be rotating the shafts at quite the same speed.
But the amount of slip needed is so minute if a diff couldnt cope with that it would go bang and leave a trail of broken gears on every corner.

However for MOT purposes you MUST have same size tyres on the same axle.
(i found out the hard way after being sold 2 different sized tyres without noticing on the R33)

I find the 2 front tyres wear-out quicker than the 2-rear, which I find weird as its a 4WD Car

yeah but the 2 fronts also steer therefore will wear down quicker.
