I will save you the bother Damian.
I have offered you a possible exchange for 85.5mm but the differance would need to be paid.
Please also bare in mind I HAVE NEVER SOLD YOU ANY PISTONS.
You made an inquiry last month and ive heard nothing back.
I sold the pistons to a company called Far east performance accordingley last week.
As stated before, the confusion is between yourself and mechanic. I have offered you a possible exchange as a good will gesture.
I would haveliked for the matter to be resolved ammicabaly between us, but I it is my opinion that you were intend on having this aired publically from the start.
It reminds me of a recent thread over the road involving "Engine Tuner"
I will post all correspondance between us below, for all at the kangaroo court to see.
It would seem tria/blackmaill by internet is very popular these days.

In reference to the wrong supply of pistons you have sent to Far East Performance, we would request that you get back in touch asap in regards to sorting out a refund for the mistake you have made. Specifics I asked for were 85.5mm and you have sent stock 85mm. The pistons are as you sold them and have not been soiled nor have they had rings put on them. It was a miss understanding on your part and require them to be refunded including postage costs. Failure to do so will result in further action being taken. This may result in further loss of business through the Evo owners forum! Emails have been prepared in regards to this matter.
I look forward to hearing from you asap and please get in touch with my mechanic, Pete, at Far East Performance.
Regards Damian

Hello
Thankyou for your email.
I believe you have spoken to Tariq ( director ) and im sure he will get back to you asap.
Mean time, we dont take kindly to threatening emails, and find it quite absurd for you to come to this almost immediatley.
Non the less we will give the matter our full attention
Just breifly as far as im aware there has been no misunderstanding on our part whats so ever.
We have supplied a set of piston that where specifically mentioned, also an approx bore size was provided at less the 85mm,
The pistons usually sell for £425 plus and are advertised as 85mm piston via the site you seen them on.
Having never spoken to you about them prior to order I find it difficult to understand your comment "Specifics I asked for were 85.5mm"?
I have informed Tariq about the situation and he will get back to you at hs earlieast conveniance.
Regrads 2nd Email:
In regards to the email I got back from you it seems that you think I threatened you when clearly I did no such thing. I mentioned on the email that I will put a complaint on the forum about the parts. I did put on the forum that I was looking for 85.5mm pistons and I was posted a message by your company that those pistons are £325. I also phoned the number left on the forum and checked the piston size and price and also informed Tariq that I will get my mechanic to call and pay for those pistons. After a conversation with Tariq today I was told that no refund will be given and no exchange due to the parts being soiled goods and have the rings on the pistons. The pistons are as they were sent and have not been tampered with in any way at all, and where he got this information from I have no idea. I took the correct action and I am justified in the action I have taken and also know what my rights are. Therefor I request that this matter be cleared up asap and my refund issued.
The mistake was made on behalf of your company and no one else is at fault for this matter. Tariq would not even answer his phone or call back my mechanic in regards to the matter, so again I was fully justified in my actions upon sending the email. I will post on the forum tonight that I have a disgruntled complaint about parts sold to me and contact should be made through the thread on the forum. This is advice I have been given by the members of the forum. I am also aware of prior history you have on other forums and would like this matter dealt with. It has caused me problems in regards to my rebuild and work that had to be cancelled in regards to this mistake being made.
I look forward to hearing from you or Tariq as soon as possible.
Regards Damian

2nd Email response:
Hi Damian
Im going to respond best I can and be factual as possible. Tariq
regards to the email I got back from you it seems that you think I threatened you when clearly I did no such thing. I mentioned on the email that I will put a complaint on the forum about the parts.
Yes in my opinion it came across as being as good as blackmail.
I did put on the forum that I was looking for 85.5mm pistons and I was posted a message by your company that those pistons are £325. I also phoned the number left on the forum and checked the piston size and price and also informed Tariq that I will get my mechanic to call and pay for those pistons.
The only time I remember is last month when you replied on my thread, I have never qouted you any price for 85.5mm, the pistons I had are advertised on that very board as 85mm for £325.
Please forward any correspondance betweens us if you feel otherwise
Also I sent/supplied the pistons to a garage, never once was you ( the customer ) mentioned and as far as I was aware the transaction was completed between us.
It was only a day or 2 later when you called asking for more parts that I was made aware.
After a conversation with Tariq today I was told that no refund will be given and no exchange due to the parts being soiled goods and have the rings on the pistons.
I think you may have misunderstood what I said, I stated they are non refundable items due to being shopped soiled, hence why they were cheap to clear at £325 in th first place.
The pistons are as they were sent and have not been tampered with in any way at all, and where he got this information from I have no idea.
As above, think you may have misunderstood what I said, I simply laid out a example for you to understand.
I took the correct action and I am justified in the action I have taken and also know what my rights are.
Thats fine, and I agree, although the line you have taken is some what questionable in my opinion
Therefor I request that this matter be cleared up asap and my refund issued.
As stated to you over the phone, I will get a price on the correct size you now require and get back to asap and see if I can help you that way, seems you forgot that part.
The mistake was made on behalf of your company and no one else is at fault for this matter.
Again, having never spoken to you prior to order, I find that statement contradictive to what was stated by your mechanic in our conversation, hence no mistake was made on our side.
Tariq would not even answer his phone or call back my mechanic in regards to the matter.
Thats not true, I missed 2 calls literally a few minutes after one another at approx 3.30pm today, I had my passenger reply via text to let your mechanic know im driving and shall call back, which I did and got his answer phone, please ask him to check to verify fact from lies.
so again I was fully justified in my actions upon sending the email. I will post on the forum tonight that I have a disgruntled complaint about parts sold to me and contact should be made through the thread on the forum.
Ultimatley your the customer and you are intitled to do as you please as a forum user.
I have dealt with you in a good manner and cant see where im wrong, put bluntley, this mix up is between you and your mechanic, but some how im to blame.
This is advice I have been given by the members of the forum.
Well no suprises there really, quite strange how a keyboard makes people the best of adviser despite the fact the have no insight of what really has happened. Any members in particular???
I am also aware of prior history you have on other forums and would like this matter dealt with.
Would you care to share? as thats news to me, but if im honest I keep hearing the same within the wild fire rumour mill, seemingly just the usual rubbish that follows any businees involved with forums.
It has caused me problems in regards to my rebuild and work that had to be cancelled in regards to this mistake being made.
Im sorry to hear that, but its not my mistake, however as a good will gesture I will see what I can do regarding exchange as stated in our earlier phone conversation.
I look forward to hearing from you or Tariq as soon as possible.
And there you have it. 3rd email:
Nothing was said by you regarding any other size of pistons other than what i stated on my thread.
If you log on to the forum go to parts wanted, go onto page 2 and you will see the title of the thread made by me then look at the post you made.
I called you days later regarding the order and clearly stated i would get someone to call back, i did so and my mechanic Pete ordered and paid for the parts. Only reason he paid for them is due to me already paying a deposit to him, towards parts I had already phoned regarding.
I am not blackmailing any one nor am i threatening anyone, just simply pointing out the facts that i will take the action that i see fit to do so as i am so entitled.
As indicated by me that it may result in loss of business on your part due to bad press. That was a warning on the grounds of bad press that people see can be damaging and not a threat, but you are entitled to see it in any way you see fit and you are entitled to your opinion.
I must also point out that any goods that are received by a customer and are not fit for the purpose that they are intended must be exchanged to the value of the original parts and no other money weather higher or lower be exchanged. A refund should be given if the goods are still in the same condition as supplied and in the original packaging. A full refund is more appropriate due to the nature of the situation and due to you trying to charge me more money as to the conversation we had on the phone.
I am not willing to pay any more money for any other parts supplied by you, and under the Sale of Goods Act I dont have too.
The parts I requested are £325 including vat, £10 delivery charge was also added which i accept.
You are trying to get more money out of me for parts that were sent and were not fit for the purpose intended nor where they what i asked for or got quoted for.
The mistake was made by you and therefor will be rectified by you also.
Im asking for the refund to be made as soon as possible and so i can take my business elsewhere as the service and the way i have been treated is not acceptable by any standard.
Regards,
3rd response
Im sorry you feel that way.
Had I spoken/sold the pistons to you directly instead of your mechanic then yes I would agree with you and say a mistake has been made on our part.
But as it was Pete who I spoke to and Pete who ordered the pistons not you, I dont see why a refund should be issued on parts that were ordered accordingley.
Never was it mentioned the piston were for yourself, and as far as im concerned I was selling to Fast east performance.
Considering I have answered to your every question, messages and emails, I dont see how my service is below standard, simply because we dont agree on the outcome, but again your intitled to your opinion.
And no im not trying to make any more money from you, but simply offered you another set at cost price i that was possible.
Regards
