just want your guys view on this,
well i thought i might of found the right car,but turns out not!
i have been looking at a evo 8 fq300 in sleaford and i was hoping it was the one.
heres the spec:
For sale is my 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 UK FQ300 in black. It has had 3 previous owners. I have owned it for approx 1 and a half years.
It has 36K miles and is running 346 BHP / 363 LBft (with graph to prove) (running fairly low boost at about 1.6 and peaks at just under 1.7 bar)
It is a real credit to its two previous MLR (Mitsubishi Lancer Register) owners and to Nick @ NR Autosports NR Autosport - Performance Mitsubishi Specialists who has done a fantastic job at maintaining and upgrading it since 2005.
AYC is working perfectly and has just has new AYC fluid this week.
I have all receipts / old MOTs etc.
MOT'd until 27/01/14, passed MOT with NO advisories / I have just taxed it for Six months (starting from the 1st march)
Private plate is staying on the car if the buy it now price is met.

Recently had 4 x Vredestein sessanta tyres within the last few hundred miles so they are as new.
I recently took the car to Nick at NR Autosports with suspect head gasket failiure as it was using water, it turns out the head gasket going had caused the bottom end to crack.
I had NR Autosports source me a replacement engine out of an evo 7 and change all the belts and gaskets etc and build it up with the ancilaries: Oil cooler, inlet manifold, turbo, manifold etc. from my old engine at a cost of £3,700. The engine was purchased by Nick from a reputable source and he has given me a warranty on the replacement engine for peace of mind.
when i asked if he had anything to prove the milage on the new evo7 he said no. i mean if thats the case the engine could of done 10000 or 100000 miles,who knows. i just cant believe he has spent £3700 on a engine and they didnt tell him the milage of it.. bare in mind he wants 9k for this car,which does look clean in the pictures. i dont think its worth that much now due to the problem i have just said!
