There is a bolt with a spring loader mechanism attached to it. It is located behind the clutch pedal quite high up in the bulk head (under the dash).

If memory serves correct.....I suggest that you get a 10mm socket on a baby ratchet and a torch and get turning matey!!!!

All the way until the pedal is where you want it. Check your clutch fluid to see that it is at the max level while your at it.

Let me know how you got on please.

Oh and take a moment of your time to reply to 2 of my threads entitle Me My Evo & I, Calling All Evo Owners.

I have checked the level of the pedals earlier and the clutch is level with the brake pedal, but the biting point of the clutch is at the top of the pedal.

Phoned Main dealer this afternoon to price up the clutch (just in case) and they reckon that the clutch is worn and needs replacing.

A raised pedal usually is a tell tale sign of a clutch being on its way out but you have stated that it is not slipping.
Put the car in 2nd gear, hold the handbrake up and bring it to biting point.
Does the car want to move off or is it merely trying to have a go at it???
Drive the car at 30mph in 3rd gear quickly shift to 4th and accelerate hard.
Does the car rev more but pick up speed slow??

Let me know what the dealer quotes you and I will try to point you in the right direction.

Which part of the country are you in???
