hi techis as i have come in to your world you have got me as a pest for while as i am on my way on doing mods on my evo 4 just waiting for parts to carrie on at wot bhp can std clutch take thanks for reading this far as i know i go on a bit lol lol:razz::):whistling::wtf:

Regardless of what you will hear, the stock item is only recommended to around 320 BHP.

They have been known to handle higher but if you are planning to go around 330 to 360 ish then you will benefit from going uprated.

The cheapest option might be Helix which are top notch and well worth spending the money on.

i can vouch for this my clutch went not so long ago running around 350bhp

how much for hellix clutch new el i ve decided to buy a new one when time comes

hi el this wot i have planned for mods 255 pump/5 ecu/decat pipe/induction kit/5 injecters/remap/ pos turbo if needed wot will that give me as in bhp thanks el

thanks. would it be safe on evo 4 engine to up rate the turbo as well or is the 4 turbo enough as i wuld not like to blow engine up.

personally i wouldn like to run it at such high boost

You will be looking at 330 and above buddy.

hi is there a lot of diferents between std i think is 280/to 330/360 bhp in noticable power and will it be accelrasion or top end thanks

havent exedy been getn bad press of late with clutch failure after little miles,,

so wouldnt recommend those,,

im in the same boat as you pal,, waitn on a new clutch myself,, im going for a 7/8/9 stage 2 competition clutch and flywheel,,

Just out of curiosity, but is there a difference between the Evo 4 injectors and the ones from an Evo 5?

They're similar mods to what I have on my car mate, only I have a different ECU, I'm running at about 1.5 boost and last RR I did showed 350bhp. The mods were done by the previous owner and he did say that he felt the difference between standard and (it was) 380bhp @1.7 (on a different dyno). So I am pretty sure you will enjoy it :)

Leo sorry for slightly high-jacking your thread. But El, what further mods would I need to see 400bhp and do you think I would notice much difference from 350bhp?

I have yet to see any faliures we sell and fit loads and dont seem to have a problem with them.

Matt the difference in the e4 and e5 injectors is size. E4 are 510cc and e5 onwards are 560cc
