best cleaning products for the car

i have never really wanted to try it on my interior seats etc.. But i guess if the right dillution is there it would work,,,, I just mainly use it as a pre wash for my alloys and the engine bay....

Cool. I'm too paranoid to wash the engine bay. Had a bad experience many years ago with a sierra cosworth (customers car). I steam cleaned the engine and it was missing like there's no tomorrow. Since then, I won't really do an engine on a turbo. My RS evo 4 needs it doing. There's some oil at the back end of the engine bay (bulkhead, around where the chassis number is).

Another thing good for alloy wheels is get some autoglym polish on them. They tend to stay cleaner longer and repel dust

i have supaguard alloy wheel protector on mine,,, i got a few tins from a mate,, not sure where he came across them though,,, seems to be doing an ok job so far,,, I have tried others rimwax etc all seem to do the same sorta job,,,

Cool. I've used autoglym for a long time because I get it cheap and in the 5ltr cans. Used a lot of Autosmart products too when I used to do car valets.

might give the clay bar ago myself,i t-cut my car just after i had it an that made it a hell of alot better

too be honest pretty much 6 of one half a dozen of the other,, each will do the same job,, It just depends on how much u want to pay,, Pm on its way

I use auto glym,I've used it since before I passed my test n swear by it,wen I'm doin the show n shine I have been known to use a spray called quick detailer,its good for everythin from bodywork to glass to tyres : ). I do wana get some clay though,if anyone nos a cheap place to get it from pls let me no

Turtle wash & wax from good ol halfords. Its not expensive and it comes up without too much streaking. If its been that long I would T cut then after a good quality polish. I worked at a car showroom in southend years ago and this was a tried and tested formula. I promise you a light T cut and then a polish and it will be silk smooth. I know it takes ages but it will be smooth....

i know this isn't a popular method, but anyone ever tried steam cleaning? this company has auto detail shops that claim to provide good service.
