best cleaning products for the car

my cars been standing for a while waiting for a heart transpalt now she is nearly better, i thought it time for a shampoo and polish!

been looking at some different brands - autoglym high def wax/aquawax/res wax, dodo juice etc......

anybody got any recomendations as to what is good.....
surely this would be a good one for westdixon to share some knowledge aye buddy?

Well what i do is snow foam using megs hyper wash,, then clay bar with megs clay bar,, then autoglym high def wax after,,, then some nice tyre dressing,,,, But im sure other members will be along to give their opinions on what routen they have,,

u will be amazed how much crap comes off ur car if not been done before, and the paint work will be smooth like glass,,, u will not be dissapointed,, then a nice wax for after ,,,,:D:D

yeah it does feel abit rough, unlike starlet which is really smooth mainly because i go over top with cleaning it.
dont know which clay set to get tho, ive looked at Meguiar's and auto glym but dodo do a set too.
which would you recommend? :D

too be honest pretty much 6 of one half a dozen of the other,, each will do the same job,, It just depends on how much u want to pay,, Pm on its way

We use AutoSmart products at our place too. Nothing cleans components better.

the product is spot on does the jod just as good even better sometimes anybody want autosmart products give me a shout i can do small bottles of it so you guys dont have to buy the 5 ltr drums:D

I think that some of you guys should take him up on this offer, it really is worth while having AutoSmart products as all the good car wash's use them!

Like Chris said already, they do not come in small bottles:mad:

The highstyle is very good. Best let it dry on the tyres before moving the car otherwise have splashes on the car!

Their polish is very good too, can have it cut to however strong you want. Personally, I use autoglym and if I need to t-cut any part, I mix the glym with some t-cut (comes off a lot easier this way)

G101 is an (apc) all purpose cleaner,, different dillutions for different jobs,, im not sure if i ever used it for a shampoo, But i do know u can use it on headliners etc,,,,,

Sorry what I meant was an interior (seats etc. shampoo).

It works very well on headliners too
