Not seen it before but the bay looks nice. Not keen on the fitment of the bonnet when it's closed though. Bit gappy round the sides.

Yes would have to agree with you there mate it is a poor fitting I think I would be inclined to but a standard one back on it... ??

Haha... I know my mate reckons its a Chav car lol... I'm considering buying turbo technics demo car the evo 9 same coulour as yours but hasn't got any carbon on it looks totally standard But is running around 470 - 480 bhp.... ???

Sorry miss read the post u ment yeah do it lol.. Haha my bad... It's an 07 plate fq320 and turbo technics done the work to it the engine tuner in plymouth mapped it all it...

Yea it is. I use to run one on my last Evo. Held power well but there have been a few reports of failures but you usually find turbo technics will repair them no problems.

Ive spoken with Alan @ engine tuner as before everything started breaking on my motor was going to go with one of his hybrid TTS209 turbos as they offer a buyback on your standard one so pricing is good.

Also TT have updated their turbos now too to make em even better.

Yeah he said if I get any probs I can bring it back lol... So what sort of boost was you running on it?? This one is only at 1.8b he said its good for 2bar but depends on how far u Want to push it...

I think the s205b is around £1.300 I think I don't know how much the s209 goes for is that one of there new billet turbos?

I ran 2.0 bar and it loved it. We tried 2.2 but it was taking to long to get on boost so we backed it off to 2.0 bar and it made an awesome road car.

As said it's now called the S205b b stands for ball bearing which is the most recent version.

Figures vary depending on the dyno. Mate of mine ran a S205 as well and on one dyno it made 470bhp and the next just a couple months later on a different it made 525.
He also ran 2.0 bar and is deemed safe although TT only rate it to 1:8 bar.

Yea they are around 13-1400 pound

The S209 is a smaller turbo much the same as a Evo 9 80 series only a little bigger.

Cool good bit of info that mate... I thought the b stood for billet?? But your probably spot in I shall ask them tho... It's got an apexi boost controller which he said always reads abit higher it peaked at just over 1.8 bar but it did pull real well.. Just look forward to getting it now then a trip up to Pw pro for a spot of detailing and some carbon...
