honestly. why? russ did my remap and set it up for pops and bangs but want to be able to do it just revving etc its a bitch to get it to do it as it is plus its great to have

Pops and bangs on your mapping is the best form of anti lag

You'll need your mapper to do that for you

Anti lag kills turbos cos of the amount of fuel and flames that flow through it.

Think Russ would be able to do launch control for you though which is similar

a lot better thanks lol has put smiles back on my face not had a lot done as only had the car a few months and moneys tight but was impressed. and geof yours was an even better reading lol and immaculate car must be the feathers. any ideas how i can get it to pop more then. russ done the remap with pops and bangs and can turn it on and off. is it bad to leave it on, damage anything, use more fuel etc. also hes done launch control that i prop wont use as its running on a standard clutch but even redlining wont spit/pop

i have launch control on my 9 my wife loves it your car made a respectable 350 ish on the rollers didnt it

ye it got 359 all the way from the stock bhp chuffed to bits. and not put it to the test yet the thought of 5-6000rpm slamming onto a standard clutch worries me haha

I had pops and bangs on my VII and for some reason it wasnt that good and and the same can be said for alot of VII's for some reason

is it safe to leave it on all the time or will it damage the turbo or use more fuel

if i could get it to pop i would otherwise a video is pointless and even when it has its been going down the road never stationry

The pops and bangs generally work on the revs dropping rather than hitting the redline

When drivin try getting high in the revs and then just gently rest ur foot on the gas this should create the pops and bangs abit better about 5% throttle should do it nicely

What exhaust you running ??

ive got a fujiturbo thing on mine and it only rumbles in the car, think i need to sell it for a better one

The pops and bangs dont work that well on Evo 7's as they have a egr system on the inlet manifold its only the 7's that have this system on and are affected

I always thought this to be the case Jamie (not threw experience) but noticed a post of Grayw's the other day saying something along the lines of it got nothing to do with it? (dont quote me though)
