Yeah I should do really I might just carry on with my project thread as thats been running since I got the car

Ill drive it but not in the winter :sneaky:

Probably roll it out around spring.....was wondering what white to paint it but I think Im just going to stick with scotia white

If it was mine i would be really tempted to have it done in either the new focus rs white or audi r8 white! But then its not original!?!? Its a tuff call that!

AYC pump overhauled this evening and all back up and working again!

Got a very good quality and comprehensive rebuild kit and a bleed control box thx to Dan oldham (svengali)
member on here! Will add link to him at bottom for anyone looking to do a rebuild!
Highly recommended! Bleed control box makes bleeding an absolute doddle!

Parcel force arrived this morning as told they would with my new headlights fresh out of customs :)!
The lights i found on US ebay for a steal at £123.23 inc delivery so thought i would take a chance and order a pair!
After customs charges of £33.57 for VAT and release fees they stand me in at a total of £156.80 Very reasonable in my opinion!

So onto the fitting which im pleased to say was quite a simple process of just removing part of the front wing which was between the original indicator lens & headlight!

The lights wern't supplied witj bulbs or a loom so purchased X2 H1 and X2 H7 bulbs and found a wiring diagram over the road which also means that on high beam, dip bulbs stay on too!
How ever the light units don't have a side light bulb so will need to address this later as obviously will be required come MOT time!
Indicators bulb holder & original wiring fits straight in to these light units!

The fit is much better than i was expecting for the price paid, although these units do require u to drill a hole in front cross member for an additional fixing point as they are one piece units!

Over all I am very pleased with the product and finished fitted look! Especially for the price!

Heres a before and after shot!

Before

After
