no i'm using 96533706 SD and livemap, i have used the MAF version though, do you have a problem?

I got a three plug ecu on a 8, so was advised SD is not working fully on this ecu, but I wouldn't mind putting on livemap with maf just to have a mess but XML s are not working at the mo

no there was another xml in there wrongly named

yeah the v7 xmls are stand alone an don't inherit from the normal ones

ive got mixed opinions on this some people say it damages your engine

some dont,whats the truth?

depending on how aggressive and how often its used, it will cause high EGT and damage the compressor wheel and/or CAT

I think I read over the road that it can also cause lift on the head, would that be correct?


I have pops and bangs on mine on a switchable map. Don't use it often though

alright guys quick question i got pops and bangs mapped into my evo 5 but theres not very many backfires it just pops a small bit when slowing down from high revs to low without using the brakes if you get what im saying is this what pops and bangs actually are?i was hoping for something a bit more aggresive

Yeah not bad but had little time for car antics these days due to work etc but had a corker of evening tonight and went out in a gorgeous 8MR running an 80series and 1.9bar - WOW!!!!!

Have you got the map to view? Do you have the ability to change it yourself?

Seems like some changes are needed to increase the effect that your after.

no i dont have it and i wouldnt be able to map it myself

todd at cw performance remapped it for me it dont get me wrong i delighted with remap and he done a top job and i would reccomend him to anybody

i would like slightly more aggresive bangs out driving tonight for a few hours and only back fired twicw or three times

i probably should have told todd this i would love switchable maps but i would not have the cash for it at the moment

Give him a shout as Im sure Todd will sort you out and ammend the map to make things a little more aggressive for you....doesnt have to cost much either for alt maps etc.
