Hi All,

From my previous threads you can now see that im now keeping my Evo :) :) "Good Times" Work has picked up and I now am looking at upgrades whilst its off the road for the winter.. :D

Im thinking of a stroker kit but not sure if that the way to go... Bigger Turbo would be ok but would rather add more ooomph before i go for a bigger turbo.

Im currently running my Evo 6 with a:

Forged Engine, Evo 9 Turbo, Evo 9 Outlet Pipe, 3" straight through exhaust, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Tomei Race Cams, Aftermarket Intercooler, HKS Induction... plus a few other little bits and bobs. The engine is easily capable of power between 370 - 410bhp.... (But I now want more:D)

With my current set up, how muh BHP "could" I gain from buying and fitting a 2.3 stroker kit... And with the kits you can buy do they just replace the stock items or is there other work I need to do to make it work...

Any help, info or anything else you can add would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

You got a forged engine with 9 turbo and tomei cams .... And you only think it's capable of 410bhp

Try thinking bigger bhp with that setup. If it's forged already just go bigger turbo and there you get oomph lmao

Good forged engine should handle 600 :)

.... Ahhh that would explain it then... Thanks Mate :D.
I have the Dyno graphs from the previous owner who owned it and it was running around 515bhp.... "Bigger Turbo is the way forward then"... Thanks again mate :)

OMG Thats Awesome.....:D:D

You obviously know your Evo's mate... Would a GT 3076 Turbo give me the "Performance" I am looking for??? Or should I be looking for another turbo?? Also how would i set up the cams??? Or would i need a professional to do that for me...

Thanks
Steve

What cams do you have, you only say tomei!? 264/272/280 !?

Turbo's you need look into for your specific requirements. Bigger they are the more lag you have. That's the basic rule ....
