If you have a V and the transplant engine is a V then I do not see the point of remapping the ECU unless you have some mods running already or the donor engine has uprated internals.

What do you have in the way of mods under the bonnet buddy???

all i have mate is a warlbro fuel pump lightweight fly wheel and a raliart acu the dyno has it at 350bhp but no air con so i think thats giving it a extra 10 bhp i think

Get it mapped then, unless you already had it mapped in the first place.

Hold on a minute, you have a RalliArt ECU??? Is that for sure???

I don't think it can be re-mapped but Russ or Sponners will be able to answer that one for certain.

all the paperwork and all the work thats been done on it is all in belfast i mean its got good history every service was done by norris garage as soon as the engine is in will get it re mapped for peace of mind

If it does have a genuine Ralliart Ecu fitted it will be housed in a white case most of them use a 7203 processor same as a TME and it can be remapped using Ecuflash or Ecutek
