Trying To Get Hold Of Russ To Re Map My Evo 8 Anyone Know How I Can Contact Him??

Sorry mate been a bit busy lately, so not had much chance to get on here.

I know I have spoken to you since you put this thread up, but for future reference if anyone needs to get hold of me, just drop me a PM and i'll answer it as soon as I get a second

I assumed the ecu is already mapped to the old engine, if it is then you will deffo need a remap, if its a ralliart ecu then you should be fine but will need it checked to be sure.


If it is a genuine ralliart ecu then I'd recommend selling it and replacing it with a standard ecu and get Russ to map it up for you.

.....you can remap the ralliart ecu but it would be a waste as they are worth more money than the standard ecu.

There doesn't seem to be a huge difference in the prices these days (bit like the E7 and E8 260 ralliart ecu's now).

Has your car got a boost controller or 3 port boost soenoid fitted ?

If it does have a boost controller fitted along with the Ralliart ecu that is why the power can be increased but the Ralliart ecu is just a generic map

A proper remap will see more power from the car and make it a lot smoother if done correctly
