can you put a evo-9 ecu into a evo6 ??

It can be done but only worth it if you are going to be running a mivec head if not then you end up with cel lights on due to the lack of mivec sensors

E7 and E8 260 ecu's are a easy swap but not really worth it now as the E6 ecu is just as good

The only reason i bring up putting a evo 7 or 8 in my 6, is so that it has OBDII software...at least that's what i think they are compliant with..

was then looking to plug into this a scangauge/computer gizmo...

took my car for a map recently.
and the mapper could'nt read the mph.
said the prob was delimiter wired near the speedo and not to the gearbox was the prob.

so went home and asked my mechanic where he had put it, and he said the gearbox???

any ideas why it is not reading the speed???

i have a iv with with a vi tommi mak ecu.

hi all. i have an evo7 import with dump valve, decat and exhaust, air filter, walbro fuel pump and soon to have a pressure valve and remap. if i was to have my valve and remap dun then in the future fit an exhaust manifold would this screw anything up or wouldnt it really matter before or after the remap. thanks all

im looking for some 1 to map my car in ilkeston or nearby.. any idea of what sort of power i can get its only a sun toy so u can map it within a inch of its life pmsl and i would like pops and bangs ?? antilag ?

Hi im in York and have bought a 6 with forged piston walbro pump, gizzmo boost control etc etc. It has been mapped to 410 bhp at 1.7 bar of boost. In next few months would like it to be checked over that it is running ok. how much do you charge if I came to you for a map check.
