best or worst mod so far ?? :O)

hi ever on the quest to improve a already well made car , i was wondering what you all would consider your best or worst mod ??

from a little thing like removing the clutch slave cylinder reducer " better gear change , less slip with more power .
fitting bearing in the gear linkage ends " to replace the worn out rubber one's .
to stroking the block , what really work on the road ..

i would have to say that the biggest improvement to my car was reducing under bonnet temps" got to over 90c when the rad fan cut in .

used fan shroud keeping heat off the intake pipe to the turbo .
heat wrap the manifold .
fitting hondata inlet gasket .yes they work .
and a small stat controlled fan to cool the injector rail and inlet manifold in traffic jam .inlet temps over 60c .
any one sat on the m25 will know what i mean :O)
and a rubber strip down from the bonnet vent to the head to funnel the heat out .

worst .
fitting a 6 puck stage 3 clutch and flywheel and not fitting uprated engine and diff mounts first . ooops :O(

Excedy twin plate. Over kill for what I needed in a clutch and a nightmare driving round a city

it alway suprises me how often when you make one small change " no matter how small " the resulting side effects can be so large , resulting in poor drivability or loss of power to the other extreme of great power gains and a greater driving experience .
how one mod / change can effect another parts role ......".strange kind of witch craft happens " jc"

yeah and it need's a map badly! Never had prob before tho with dump valve some people do. Ecu injector's and so on. But the air filter made it boost cut! Do love the sound and the new turbo chatter!

im running a big kn filter, 4" inlet to the turbo no air flow meter .
i got loads of chatter after i changed the lower boost pipe for a bigger bore "was letting the boost return back to the turbo "
solved this by reducing the spring pressure in the dv . wasn't a problem with my old tommy mak turbo 15gk2 but was with my new tomie m7960 20g . go figure

as for a remap i got some cam's to fit and that will bu ger up my map :O(

My worst mod was probably painting my brembo calipers White. Yea they looked the nuts when I first done them but they didn't stay like it for long lol

Best mod now that's a tricky one cos after 3 years of modding I've lost track of what I done lol
I was quite chuffed with my home made mounting plate I cut and shaped to mount my water temp gauge and custom sensor location
