midd if you offered me £8500 for mine straight out you can have mine right here right now you know the spec and its pushing the numbers, has two maps low map for cheap fuel 95 ron and low boost and high boost 1.7 and v power.

so do you remove the tank and completely drain it and the fuel filter everytime you change....

midd listen i have a 260 and i have heard it all before, all the evo 8s started out the same, the only difference is that ralliart decided to tune some cars to different power levels so they can sell them for more money, with the 260 you are gonna change all the bits anyways like some of these fq boys have so in the long run you end up saving a few thousand pounds over them. the funny thing is ive spent next to no money on mine and im already quicker than some of the fq boys

get what you want mate its an evo even if it comes with the small wing.

i have an evo 5. when the weather is bad i drive to work... 6 miles round trip!! :whistling: and i get less to a tank than when i go home to see family which is between 180-220 miles per tank depending how much i wanna get home!! :ninja:

why is it you get less to a tank driving shorts distances, is it because of stop and starting all the time?

yeah. well i dont stop and start tbh, just the once actually. but it is no good for the engine doing such short distances which i why i tend to cycle or run!!
plus when i do drive, which isnt often, i usually kane it. lol :whistling:

mate if fuel is worrying you dont buy a evo! or a 260 (vectra) but if your not bothered then get the fq you wont get a grey one in a 8 or 9 an less you get a mr but they do a grey 7
the fq comes with better seat a 6th gear (better fuel economy) ect but for the money you are thinking of spending go for the 7 you will get a good one for that
