you can find loads of evo 8 260s look on autotrader, as for big spoiler contact john@evobreakers and also search for a thunder spoiler which will come with the tiny spoiler/fin to cover that centre hole up.

offer me £10k and you can have mine, has all stage one mods, eibach springs, bilstein shocks, 3 port boost solenoid and will be mapped to 360-370bhp and around the same in torque, and i have two maps so you can run cheap fuel to save money all you need to do is stick a big spoiler on it. and found it has a tracker just need to get it reactivated. and it has performance friction discs and pads and a dual port bov so save yourself lots of money and buy mine.

if i get £9k for mine then the plan is to pay for the wedding, clear a few debts and buy a cheaper diesel banger for time being while i save then buy myself a project car to do over a long time and not tell anyone until its done, just need to decide if i want a track car, or style and sounds or just buy a really nice family car and add audio and tv to it and nice set of wheels.

No mate, just got back from holiday and im not spending 10k only about 7k/8k on a 260.
Yours sounds nice but the petrol prices would destroy me.

Hows a car made by Mitsubishi and called an Evo not a Mitsubishi Evo?
Has it got a differnet engine made by a different make or is it something people like you with the bigger versions use to make you feel bigger, never really been into evo's until a few month back but ive heard that a few times, dosnt bother me i'll take the uk version.
P.s i was born in England, would i still qualify as English in your eyes?

Its not got the same engine components as a normal 8. Its a baby evo.

But still an evo with mitsubishi parts, i no its a baby one because its the smallest engine but thats what i want, i read up about it and its supposed to be just as good as the 300 (parts wise, strength, quality etc) and meant to be really good value for money. Am i correct?

midd listen i have a 260 and i have heard it all before, all the evo 8s started out the same, the only difference is that ralliart decided to tune some cars to different power levels so they can sell them for more money, with the 260 you are gonna change all the bits anyways like some of these fq boys have so in the long run you end up saving a few thousand pounds over them. the funny thing is ive spent next to no money on mine and im already quicker than some of the fq boys

yh but gaz they are at least 300 out the box. police buy the cheaper ones lol. get an fq and you wont have to uprate the exhaust system, air intake, map, internals and intirior its all done for you. and all you will need after that is a decat fuel pump and boost controller and that will get you a touch more than what yours is on now for how much??

back to the origional post if you are looking at saving a few squid buy the vectra and if you are looking at heavy mods gaz has a point but if you still want a driveable car and dont want to spend the earth catching up buy an fq. you already said you dont like the spoiler, how much longer until you think to yourself 'i wish i bought an evo'

craig your interior is the same as mine only difference between mine and yours is spoiler which was an option, hard pipes for intercooler, cam has a very slight different profile but doesnt really give much and you have one less cat and a super drager exhaust as standard, my hard pipes are ok up to 400bhp, my cams are ok, i got my down pipe and cat back really cheap, it had a de cat on it, ive bought a bov and a 3 port thats it tuning wise and a remap, my car has more power than yours more torque than yours, is a quicker car and out handles yours all for the price you paid for a fq, bit of a no brainer if you look at it that way, so leave my vectra out of it, if midds wants a 260 let him, he can easy get 400bhp which will be nice on the road as a everyday car.

The way i see it i will be driving a evo if i get the 260 version and if i had any doubts at all gaz has just convinced me 100%, seems more like the fq's are just that desperate to be that little bit better (when standard) they will spend thousands more when the smart choice is the 260 unless your filthy rich.

mine was a 260, you can always find lots of ways to tune up a 260 mate.
