yeah i am def sure it will out handle all of them and the cosworth is a serria so it rwd not 4wd which is good. what do u think it would do in a straight line against the others would i come last with 400/400

as did want to do some runs with the others up santa pod

You wouldn't come last as you would be able to put the power down a lot better than 2wd cars

400 safely with standard internals I wouldn't go much beyond 400, there are some that go way past the sacred 400 but I brlieve the inevitable rod through the block scenario will arrive prematurely:cry::cry:

lol joker so to get to the 450-500 bhp mark i am looking at a forged engine or is there another way with out having a full build engine

What you will need is a rod job which requires machining of the std pistons to accept floating pins, uprated rods, rod bolts etc. iirc Norris Designs offer this service.

standard 9 and 8 mr internals will take upto around the 400/400 mark and will still be a nice responsive car and yea, youll prob leave the others trailing if you get it off the line right.

if you want more than that then indigo-gt can do you a forge drop in job which is rods and pistons head bolts and gasket etc then this will hive you a nice strong engine. youll also need a goos set of cams like kelford 272 and some adjustable pullys. 3k ish

then its turbo time, S205 is very good and uk made by turbo technics and faultless. £1400 then manifold 600 ish

or a gt3076 kit 3k ish includes manifold

intercooler, ams/aps etc 600 ish

rc 1000cc injectors 300 ish

twin plate clutch 1200 ish

3" down pipe, de cat, full exhaust 4-500 ish

air filter 90 ish

boost controler 2-500 ish

the underlined parts would also be need to get to 400bhp

all these parts except the engine work are new costs and would still need to be fitted
